AIDS is a daily reality in Africa, but in many places, it remains taboo and stigmatized. In Tanga, the schools of future university students are located. Here, adolescents are informed about risks and facts and discuss meaningful behaviors in group projects. Malaria is also a constant threat in Tanzania. However, very few families have access to mosquito nets. Economic conditions are precarious. When a family receives a net from a humanitarian organization, it is often repurposed as a fishing net.
